Practice-dialogue workshop inaugurated at DU


A two-day long workshop on ‘Practice-dialogue in Bangladesh’ under the project of ENHANCE (Enabling Humanitarian Attributes for Nurturing Community-based Engineering) for higher education on ‘Curriculum Development 2017’ was inaugurated on February 17, 2019 at CARS Conference Room in Dhaka University. Dhaka University Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Samad inaugurated this workshop as chief guest.

A total of 75 participants including 12 foreign delegates from Greece, Indonesia, UK and Vietnam attended the workshop. The University of Warwick is the co-ordinator of the project and Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Aziz, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Shoeb, Prof. Dr. Aftab Ali Shaikh and Prof. Dr. Tapas Debnath are members from University of Dhaka. Project Manager Prof. Dr. Mohammad Shoeb, DU Partner of ENHANCE Project, conducted the inaugural session.

Objectives of ENHANCE are to improve the quality of higher education and enhance its relevance for the labor market, society as well as to improve the level of competences and skills by developing new and innovative education programmes.
